New Music Evaluation Service Opened on The Internet

A new type of music evaluation service has opened in Finland. It is a service intended for beginning music makers as well as more experienced song connoisseurs, through which you can get advice on working on an unfinished piece of music or, for example, offering it to different record companies.

The service called Luxonia Demo Service is intended especially for music of different genres of electronic dance music and is maintained by Luxonia, the largest collective in the field in our country.

The song sent to the service is directed to Luxonia's expert artist team, which listens to it and sends a report in response, which contains comments and answers to the questions put to them.

Through the service, you can ask for a general comment about the song or something more specific regarding, for example, the melody, production, vocals or, for example, an opinion on which record companies would be most suitable for the song and how to finalize it for publication.

- It can be an original, remix or mashup, self-made or a collab. It doesn't matter if your song is techno, house, trance or some other EDM genre. Our service applies to all of them. It can be difficult to get feedback on music from major record companies. They often get a simple "No" or "Sorry, but I'm not interested", but through the Luxonia Demo Service you always get expert feedback, says Tomi Lindblom, producer of the service, Luxonia's Artist Manager.

Founded last August, Luxonia Family is the largest music collective in its field in Finland with 17 artists and three background people. Luxonian artists have been seen on the stages of Weekend Festival, Electric Carneval and Electronic Fields Festival, among others, and they have made music for numerous domestic and foreign record companies. There are a total of six Luxonia Family artists on the TOP 30 list of Finnish EDM producers' monthly Spotify listens.

- Luxonia wants to raise the profile of Finnish EDM and its artists in Finland and around the world. In addition to the Luxonia Demo Service, we are developing many other new types of EDM business, says Lindblom.

The Luxonian artists will be seen next time on December 14 at the XMAS RAVE indoor festival at the KULT club of the Helsinki Cultural Center. Luxonia Family artists include Axity, DeejaVu, Eric Altair, JaySic, Joysic, KLASS, KUOKKA, Lionis, Loose, Mike Ditchz, Robbe, Ropsu, Sm!le, Thomas Will, Triple M, Walter Alan and Whoknows. In addition to the capital region, they come from Jyväskylä, Kouvola, Lappeenranta, Tampere and Vaasa.
