Large-Scale Techno Events Will Take Over Helsinki in July

In mid-July, Helsinki's Suvilahti will be taken over by two major electronic music events. The Vault will be held with numerous Finnish and international artists on July 11th, and The Resistance a day later, July 12th.

The Vault offers more than just music, it is also a spectacular light and sound show, where lasers, visuals and effects are combined with techno music performed by almost 15 artists. The Resistance is such a comprehensive event that it donates a portion of its ticket sales to charity. Both events will take place as outdoor and indoor festivals, with artists performing outdoors from 3pm to 10pm and indoors in Kattilahalli on a 360-degree stage from 9pm to 4am.

– We want to bring hard bass, mind-blowing light shows and good energy to everyone. At the same time, we want to make sure that everyone feels safe and welcome. The Resistance is not just an event, but a space where you can be yourself and find the strength to fight against the oppression of the world and your own tribe, who live and breathe the same music. It's not just about the sound, it's about the feeling that comes when people unite around something authentic, says Martin Karm of SoundVault, the promoter of both events, who also goes by the name Martin K4rma.

The Vault's artist line-up includes British DJ/producer Aaron Hibell, Italian techno DJ Alignment, German techno artists Bennett and Kaspar, techno queen Marie Vaunt, and Finnish Orkidea and Lumi on the outdoor stage, and German artists Akki and Poltergst, British techno producer Mha Iri, and Finnish artists Martin K4rma, Alan G, Artheia and Don Taco on the indoor stage.

The Resistance's outdoor stage will feature Danish hardstyle king Adrenalize, Dutch hardstyle virtuosos Devin Wild and Rejecta, Italian DJ/Producer Rooler, Dutch Bad Blood and Finnish artist Miia Solar. The indoor stage will feature Australian Code Black hardstyle pioneer DJ Isaac, Ukrainian Unresolved, Italian hard trance duo Krowdexx, raw hardstyle artist Malice and Finnish artist Digital Mindz.

The age limit for the events is K-18, and tickets for them are already on sale at Biletti.
