Helsinki Goes EDM Was a Great Success!

The Helsinki Goes EDM event held in the center of Helsinki on The Night of The Arts on August 15 was an immediate success. This free EDM evening of eight artists organized by Luxonia gathered a total of nearly a thousand people in Kaisaniemi park from 18:00 to 22:00.

Helsinki Goes EDM highlighted eight different producers of electronic dance music stylistic trends. The event featured Marbez, Max Well, Thomas Will, KLASS, KUOKKA, Eric Altair, Axity and Devinity. There was house music, trance and big room for the night of Arts.

- There were many strong players in the industry who have accumulated considerable experience from performances up to and including major festivals. Many of them have been seen at, for example, Weekend Festival and Electronic Fields Festival, says Tomi Lindblom responsible for Luxonia's artists.

Luxonia is Finland's largest EDM collective, which includes twenty DJs/producers and industry background people from all over Finland. Luxonia has focused especially on electronic dance music.

- Luxonia organized a similar event in Kaisaniemi Park on Helsinki Day in June. Everything went perfectly both times. We will hold similar events in the future as well, say Matias and Elmeri Taavitsainen, responsible for Luxonia's technical and artistic implementations.

18.00–18.30 Marbez
