EDM booms in the Finnish million club

EDM is still a major force in the Finnish music industry. There are a total of 19 artists in Finland with over a million monthly listeners on Spotify. Eight of them are EDM artists, according to a list maintained by Luxonia.

DJ FKU, who specializes in phonk-style EDM, is at the top of the list with 7.13 million monthly listeners, followed by Darude (4.75 million) and HIM (4.44 million).

The Rasmus (3.44 million) is the fourth artist to surpass the million monthly Spotify listener mark, followed by Apocalyptica (2.88 million), Nightwish (2.78 million), EBEN (2.52 million), Robbe (2.26 million), Bomfunk MC’s (2.03 million) and OXXED (1.67 million).
