A Special Event of Six EDM Artists in Tampere

On Friday, May 23, Tampere will experience a truly special electronic music event, when no fewer than six electronic dance music artists will take to the stage on the same evening. In addition to the three regular artists from Tampere, the Häppeninki event, organized at the Alltonenatklubi, will feature three artists from our country's largest music collective, Luxonia, who have previously been seen on the stages of major festivals.

All Häppeninki regular artists will be on stage: DJ Ricky, F..Mallu and Tino. In addition to them, Luxonian Axity, Triple M and Robbe, who are regulars at many major events, will take the stage.

The main performer of the evening will be Robbe, who is currently the fourth most listened to electronic dance music artist in Finland with over 1.5 million monthly listeners. He has been seen on the stages of numerous domestic and foreign festivals. He most recently performed in Tartu, Estonia, at the beginning of May.

Axity has gained fame by performing at, among others, Weekend Festival, Electronic Fields Festival and Electric Carnival. Triple M's music has been listened to over 20 million times on Spotify. Major record labels and world-famous DJs have released and played his songs.

It is worth noting that five of the six performers of the evening, DJ Ricky, F..Mallu, Tino, Axity and Triple M, are from Tampere.

– Tampere is becoming an increasingly strong city for electronic music. There is a lively music scene here and a wide variety of clubs. Häppeninki is a good example of an event whose popularity has been clearly growing. Now we have also managed to attract artists from the top of Finland, says Santeri Liukkula, the main promoter of the Häppeninki event.

– Electronic music is on the rise in Finland. We Finns in particular seem to be inspired by fast-paced techno music, but more melodic house is also popular. There is a huge demand for electronic music these days, says Tomi Lindblom, artist manager at Luxonia.

Häppeninki at AllTonenatklub (Tammelankatu 19, Tampere), Friday 23 May from 10pm to 3:30am. Tickets at the door from 10pm to 11pm are five euros and from 11pm to 3:30am are nine euros.
